Meteorology: Cool to relatively cold weather on the highlands and rough seas south of the west coast

The National Center for Meteorology and Early Warning expects cold weather overnight and early morning in the highlands of the governorates (Saada, Amran, Sana’a, Dhamar and Al Bayda), and relatively cold weather in the highlands of the governorates (Al-Jawf, Ma’rib, Hadhramaut, Shabwa, Al-Dhalea, Lahj, Abyan, Ibb, Al-Mahwit and Hajjah).

Marine turbulence was also expected south of the west coast and at the entrance to Bab al-Mandab, with winds reaching speeds of 25 knots.

The center warned citizens in the above-mentioned highlands of the cold weather, especially the elderly, children, the sick and those who work at night and early in the morning.

He also warned sailors, fishermen and ship captains on the southern west coast and Bab al-Mandab against turbulent seas and high waves.
